I've worked for USD's Information Technology Services for more than 25 years, ever since my first week on campus as a freshman. During that time I've worked in all areas of IT, and I've been USD's Director of Research Computing for the past six years. During that time, I've led or co-led successful grant proposals totaling over $3.3M (National Science Foundation awards #2018766, #2201822, #2346643, #2502799) supporting computation- and data-intensive research and education throughout South Dakota.

In my previous roles I managed numerous large projects, including full technology deployments for the Parry Center for Clinical Skills and Simulation (2012) and USD Sioux Falls' Science and Technology Classroom Building (2011), a full redesign of the USD website (2014), and the states first VoIP deployment, at the Sanford School of Medicine's Sioux Falls campus (2008).
